DP frontman Dave Longstreth is the Brooklyn scene's leading musical chameleon, switching genres—punk, Afrobeat, chamber-pop—as often as Lady Gaga changes costumes. He's uncharacteristically settled on Bitte Orca, but the best tracks ("Temecula Sunrise" and "The Bride") are still the most schizophrenic, working Led Zeppelin–esque riffs before climaxing in pop bliss.
