Though Jeff Johnson, who co-owns Portland's oldest tattoo parlor, Sea Tramp Tattoo Company, tries too hard to sell readers on his badass persona, that doesn't make his alcohol-and blood-soaked memoir of needles, counterculture misfits, and sometimes ill-conceived inkwork any less entertaining.
