Teen Fashion Blogger Robert I. Brown on Why You Should be Wearing a Polo Shirt
You and Robert Brown probably have some mutual interests. He worships the Rat Pack, loves his desert boots, and counts F. Scott Fitzgerald among his favorite authors. One thing you probably don't have in common with the style blogger: He's 16, a high-school student from New Orleans East—and his site, Robert I. Brown Style, is a fresh, sophisticated, and charming voice in the echo-chamber-y fashion blogosphere. Oh, and did we mention he's our newest guest writer? He'll be posting every Monday on Details.com. This week he sounds off on his favorite spring essential.

What warm-weather garment is more essential than the polo shirt? After a long winter of button-fronts, the polo is a fresh and different—not to mention
younger—option to layer with cardigans, pullovers, and blazers.
Ralph Lauren makes several excellent versions. While there are multiple styles and colors to choose from, they all have one thing in common: They get more comfortable with every wear. With it being spring, it isn't a bad idea to go all out and wear a bright one.
