The Seating Equivalent of Skinny Jeans

Ghost_chair_blog.jpg

To whittle their Ghost chair down to a svelte six pounds, the designers at the fledgling Latvian brand Mint left out one obvious detail: the backrest. The skeletal wood frame makes it easy to move the piece from room to room, as seating needs change, or to recast it as a handsome side table or valet. Simultaneously minimal and inviting, this is furniture that goes with everything. Monica Khemsurov
