To prep your playlist for the summer season, DETAILS has turned to the producers responsible for some of the catchiest singles in recent memory to find out the songs they'll have you hooked on next. First up is Denver's DJ Frank E.
Backstory: Born Justin Franks, this 29-year-old parlayed a job as a Denver club DJ into producing gigs for rappers like Chamillionaire and Flo Rida (whose "Right Round" helped him make his name). He's gone on to work on everything from Enrique Iglesias' "Tonight (I'm Fuckin' You)", to Justin Bieber's "Love Me", to that instant SNL classic, The Lonely Island's "I Just Had Sex".
Signature Sound: Club-friendly tunes with surprising samples (like Tom Petty's "Free Fallin'" in Chamillionaire's "Good Morning").
2011 Summer Jam: Akon's pounding club anthem "Drop Down Low" featuring Ludacris.
