This season I started to experiment with shapes more dramatically, and this cropped jacket was one of the most emblematic of that experimentation. I actually showed a different version in which the jacket has a lower half that's zipped on to create a regular bomber later on in the show.
I like this cropped version because it's a new proportion shown in a very uncompromising way. Of course, it's not for everybody—it's a fashion statement. But the nylon material gives it a sporty spring look, and it's versatile enough for a guy to wear with a pair of shorts at the beach or with a pair of skinny jeans.
