Customer-Sourced Styling: Unionmade's Sketchy New Lookbook

UNIONMADE052611_3_blog.jpg

It was in November of 2009 that San Francisco retailer Unionmade first opened its doors to the public. Situated between the Mission and Castro neighborhoods in the City by the Bay, the store quickly became a hotspot for the best in men's fashion and earned a reputation for quality customer service. Case in point, for its Spring/Summer 2011 lookbook, Unionmade went directly to its clientele for dressing tips. Illustrated by Richard Haines of the colored-pencil street-style blog What I Saw Today, "18 Friends/18 Looks" showcases the best of the collection styled by the store's biggest fans. Clearly, the Unionmade consumer has a firm grasp of cut, color, and proportion and could probably teach the average fashion stylist a thing or two.
