Check Out: Artfully Disheveled's Artful Accessories
Left to right: Chris Berre and Michael Palmer
Trey and Chris Berre — the two brothers who, along with partner Michael Palmer, founded the new accessories brand Artfully Disheveled — were tired of seeing men in dragon- and skull-emblazoned T-shirts out at bars, so they decided to "bring back the self-respect in personal style that has been lost in recent years." Focusing on pocket squares, ties, and bow ties with cheeky graphics (think pistols, Popsicles, and dizzy doodles in custom-woven silk), the company is selling its brand of Midwest Americana in select stores nationwide as well as online. "This fall we will be introducing vintage fabric ties and squares, as well as scarves and weekend duffels," Trey says. Any chance of a full menswear line? "We're sticking to what we call the men's peripherals — great pieces that enhance one's style but don't dominate it," Michael says.
