Our Legacy Takes to the Streets for Spring/Summer 2011
Dad's vintage button-downs got tossed decades ago. Thankfully, Our Legacy
has resurrected those Polaroid styles for the trio's summer 2011 campaign
. In an interesting twist on contemporary fashion photography, the images for the Scandinavian brand's latest season feature Swedish actor Jörgen Svensson pushing a bus, eating pizza on the sidewalk, and standing shirtless in the middle of a road—making these smart, casual looks literally streetwear. As for the clothes, we've come to expect a minimalist style from Our Legacy, and it seems as if every collection features a few shirts that should hang in every guy's closet. This time around, though, some unpredictable touches have been added—a street-savvy polka-dot pattern
here and palm-plant prints
there. We wonder if a few 1950s Expressionists broke into their studio while no one was looking.
