For those still upset over the shuttering of Takahiro Miyashita's avant-garde line Number (N)ine, here's a little wearable consolation. Inspired by the city of Portland, Oregon and his stays in it's delightfully hip Ace Hotel, the designer incorporated the Portland elk into a rep-tie like silk belt with a heavy brass buckle. The purple-and-black or burgundy-and-blue color schemes and diagonal stripes play with the idea of prep, but still represent Miyashita's arresting, forward-leaning aesthetic.
