Libertine-Libertine's Fall 2011 Collection Is Its Own Best Accessory
Libertine-Libertine, the Danish clothing brand that popped up in Copenhagen two years ago, is coming into its own. Its newly released 2011 fall/winter lookbook sticks to traditional, almost folksy designs with an injection of youthful freedom. Featuring button-down shirts that range from polka dot to plaid and with a variety of earth-tone pants (think sea blue, clay red, dirt brown, and cloud gray), this collection perfectly balances the muted and the bold. We're particularly into the pants—baggy without being sloppy—and the gray marled-wool sweater with flashy burnt-orange edging. Come fall, the colors will be spot-on and, with clothes as smart and full of character as these, you won't need accessories to accent your look.
