These lethal-looking dress shoes are among our editors' favorite sightings this week in Florence.
Looks like a steel toe, yes? It's not. In the latest clever reinterpretation of traditional men's work-wear, English shoe maker Grenson showcases a steely-looking metallic leather on the cap toe of a black Oxford lace-up. (Flashes of old-school Dr Martens boots may come to mind.) The Grenson version, however, is more "jackboot of the 1% as it marches down Wall Street" than shaved-head shit-kicker. Updated for modern times.
