Sometimes, all it takes to pull together a look are the right shades. I frequently go with aviators to transform a tailored outfit for work (i.e., suit and tie) into something cooler. Aviators are a classic style that most men can pull off easily, regardless of face shape, so you really can't go wrong. Think Tom Cruise in Top Gun.
