Summer may not officially begin until June 20, but Memorial Day weekend is without a doubt the marker for open season at the beach.
It should go without saying, but if you haven't already scouted out a new suit for the season, it's time. Our suggestion? Check out the goods from the guys over at Onia. Founded by Steven Alan vet Carl Cunow, the brand has become an office favorite, thanks to its consistently clean lines, sophisticated colors, and spot-on fits.
While I will probably always be a personal devotee to the brand's solid Calder trunks, I would also recommend checking out the new summer styles, available on the website in early June. My personal favorite (pictured above) is an update to the classic ticking stripe, done in navy or a dark purple—a great way to incorporate print into swim gear without using a ton of color or gimmicks.
