Whether it's flashy or unassuming, you can tell a lot from a man's watch. Here, we bring you a glimpse of horological inspiration from a top tastemaker. In this edition: a designer's old-school find.
The Subject: Frank Muytjens, head of men's design for J. Crew
The Watch: Master Réveil from Jaeger-LeCoultre
The Details: "Ten years ago, I felt I was ready for a 'grown-up' timepiece. I wanted something subtle, classic, and not too flashy. I found it in a shop in Hong Kong. I love how understated and classic but masculine the watch is. The old-fashioned sound of the alarm clock is a nice bonus."
