The latest installment of the collaboration between Levi's and Filson includes both classic offerings—namely, a trucker jacket and a pair of 505 jeans fabricated out of Filson's Tin Cloth—plus several one-off items produced especially for this season.
One standout that caught my eye is the fishing jacket (pictured). While I'm not exactly the kind of guy who's going to be hitting the great outdoors or reeling in a big catch anytime soon, it also provides some very practical solutions for more urban scenarios. It's black, waterproof, and it has a hood—essential ingredients in a good rain jacket—but more important, it has perfectly situated pockets. Smack in the center of the chest, with two vertical zippers, they're in just the right spot to keep your hands free while trying to stay dry while running around the city.
