A New Focus on Menswear at New York Fashion Week

Menswear has always played second fiddle to women's fashion during New York Fashion Week. So if you wanted to keep up with the men's fashion industry, you'd fly out to the Paris and Milan shows—or perhaps to London. Well, we thought it was time to change all that.

So on September 8, we're opening the Details Collections Gallery for Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week. The space, located in the New York Public Library at Lincoln Center (40 Lincoln Center Plaza), will host runway shows and presentations for established and up-and-coming menswear designers, including Marlon Gobel, John Bartlett, Gilded Age, Bespoken, and Mark McNairy. We're providing the real estate at no cost to participating designers. The initiative reinforces Details' commitment to the men's fashion community by providing established designers a high-visibility platform solely dedicated to menswear—and a unique opportunity for emerging menswear designers who might not otherwise have the resources to show at Lincoln Center.

Please note that this is industry-only and not open to the public, but we will be posting highlights from the shows later in the month.
