If you don't live in New York, Las Vegas, Chicago, or the U.K., you haven't had the privilege of shopping at Topman—the men's department of the famous British import Topshop. Until now.
In 14 cities nationwide (full list is below), Nordstrom is now home to a Topshop. Each week stores will get a fresh shipment of new styles, plus a few pieces designed especially for the department store. For you non-Anglophiles out there, Topman is known as the go-to source for slim trousers, tight-fitting blazers, and other gear generally designed to make you look like a London hipster. So if you want to look like Pete Doherty and you live in Honolulu or Miami, you're in luck.
Each Nordstrom location kicks off its new partnership with a party on Saturday, September 15, complete with gifts for people who spend more than $100 on Topman gear.
Topshop first crossed the pond in 2009, when Kate Moss and owner Sir Philip Green opened a store in New York City. Compared to its 319 stores in the U.K., Topshop's three U.S. stores—plus a fourth due to open in Los Angeles in 2013—might seem a bit paltry. Keep in mind, however, that Nordstrom has 231 stores in the United States. If all goes well, Topshop could expand to other Nordstroms across the country. Of course, if you're not on the list of cities getting one, you can always order the clothes online.
