Chris Cornell, the guitarist and nearly operatic vocalist behind Soundgarden, has always been the quintessential rock-star frontman, a true wailer and a flailer, gorgeous mane and all (see more on the significance of the hair). But have you seen him speak—softly, gently, thoughtfully?
Below, in this video debuting on Details.com, you can watch Chris and drummer Matt Cameron wax poetic about one of the songs ("By Crooked Steps") on their new album, King Animal, which comes out November 13 (it's their first since 1996's Down on the Upside). Even better, you'll get a sense of just how catchy the tune is. We're intrigued.
