What should every man have in his closet?
Two well-made pairs of leather soled dress shoes. One form-fitting black leather jacket. One suit (navy or charcoal) and a navy blue blazer, both tailored to fit. Of course, a proper men's hat (be it a fedora, driving cap/newsboy cap or a French beret) to round out and top off his wardrobe.

Best advice your mother gave you?
Don't be afraid.

Tips for people looking to find their personal style?
Dress like it matters and like you matter. Pay attention to what is classic, current and "meaningful" to you. Blend them together, then find yourself. You will go further professionally, socially, emotionally, and spiritually as a result.
