The day's top five stories in fashion news.

Happy Fashion Week, gentlemen! The New York shows kick off today. Check out Kempt's hilarious A to Z guide to surviving the long days and even longer nights. (Kempt)

Finally, the boys are getting a party of their own. CFDA CEO, Steven Kolb, just confirmed that key industry players are currently setting up the first standalone New York Men's Fashion Week, and it could happen as soon as this summer. (WWD)

In other this-could-change-everything news, Net-A-Porter announced today that they're launching a weekly online magazine to compete with Vogue. Something seriously cool is going on at Fossil. The brand known for its mass-market watches and leather accessories is going upmarket with a collection of higher end, Swiss-made watches, available in stores and online this week. We're digging the sleeker, European aesthetic. (Fossil)

In other mega-brand collaboration news, Coach continues to get in touch with its artistic side with their latest series of leather bags and accessories.
