The recent Fashion 2.0 Awards, an annual celebration of the most digitally savvy, bestowed a top honor to the company: Marc Jacobs is doing social media better than pretty much any other fashion brand in the business.
In addition to Best Instagram, a brand new category this year, Marc Jacobs took home the award for Best Twitter, too. The only other brand to nab two trophies was ASOS, which won Best Facebook and the evening's highest honor, the Top Innovator award.
Who else won? Net-a-Porter took home Best e-Commerce, Chanel won for Best Online Video, DKNY won Best Online Campaign, Nordstrom nabbed the Best Pinterest award, and the Nike FuelBand won best Wearable Tech. (With the Google Watch coming this year, that category is going to get a lot more interesting at the next Fashion 2.0 Awards.)
There were some actual people who were recognized with awards: Warby Parker's Neil Blumenthal and David Gilboa took home the Visionary Award, and Eva Chen of Lucky magazine was named this year's Digital Navigator.
