First Look: DSquared2 Goes Behind Bars For Its Pre-Fall 2014 Video

How long has it been since you heard a good "crimes of fashion" joke?

If there's a fashion house that knows how to work a theme, it's DSquared2. For its prison-inspired Pre-Fall 2014 collection, the brand made a video set inside the chicest correctional facility you can imagine.

Designers Dean and Dan Caten took cues from the cell block for their Fall 2014 runway show, too, but the Pre-Fall pieces treat the source material with a lighter hand, and lighter fabrics to match. While there are shirts that mimic the walls of a police lineup or use inked fingerprints in place of a logo, a few look just like what you'd see on the backs of modern bad boys: a varsity jacket with contrasting leather sleeves, ripped jeans, heavy black boots, and trim denim jackets. A look at those pieces and more in the videos and photos below.
