In our new series Runway Recall, we revisit some of the greatest moments from past men's fashion shows. In this edition, we're taking a look back at the flash mob Moncler staged to show its Fall 2011 collection.
Some labels will stage elaborate runway spectacles to hide the fact that their clothes aren't that great. But for Fall 2011, Moncler Grenoble put a great selection of ski-ready clothing on a troupe of dancers who filled Grand Central Station with movement and color for about 10 minutes. Dancers stood in perfect rows while commuters milled around them; then, after the people producing the event cleared the bystanders away, the dance began.
