If the forecasts turn out to be correct, it is going to be one wet, hot American summer. Luckily, the nascent brand Trademark has just introduced a men's capsule collection that includes a featherweight windbreaker we can't help but endorse.
The Data Jacket, which goes for $195, is a lighter alternative to other windbreakers that are probably better suited for cooler days. But with warmer temperatures approaching, it'll be useful to have an airy, water-repellant layer in your arsenal. If the blue version shown here is too bright for your taste, it also comes in khaki and basic black.
Of course, we expect that level of retail friendliness from a brand like Trademark. It was started by Pookie and Louisa Burch (they're two of entrepreneur Chris Burch's three daughters with his first wife Susan Cole, and stepdaughters to billionaire fashion biz wiz Tory Burch). The sisters Burch undoubtedly learned a few tricks from their parents, and have reportedly been working since 2011 on their women's offering, which also made its debut this spring.
Their men's capsule collection is just as colorful and focused as the stuff they've created for the ladies. Only a handful of the guys' pieces are available online now, but watch that space. Trademark plans to unveil more pieces as spring wears on.
