Today marks the 45th anniversary of Prince Charles' coronation as the Prince of Wales—and for much of his tenure, the man has shown a penchant for wearing double-breasted suits.
The look has fallen in and out of favor over the decades, but fashion's capricious nature has never seemed to sway the man who's first in line for British throne. He donned a navy version with gold buttons on his 30th birthday in 1978, and just a few years ago he wore a brighter blue suit to shoot some hoops with a group of Swedish teenagers on a visit to Stockholm.
And when you think about it, this royal is only doing what all men do: he found a look that works, and now he's sticking to it.
