This week on Instagram: Every celebrity in Hollywood doing the ALS #IceBucketChallenge. Except, that is, for Madonna, pictured here with the dapper design duo (and identical twins) behind the edgy DSquared2 label, Dan and Dean Caten. Yes, they did the challenge. But since this photo was taken at Madonna's boozy 1920's-themed birthday bash in Cannes, it is not unlikely that someone got splashed with an icy drink.
Meanwhile, Floyd Mayweather prefers a warm bubble bath—complete with a long-haired beauty to wash his back—in ice-cold water. And hey, who can blame him? "This is how I get my day started, everyday," boasted Mayweather, who added that his new nickname is "MR. MY LIFE IS THE SH*T." (On a personal hygiene note: Details does not endorse brushing your teeth in your own bathwater, though we applaud MR. MY LIFE IS THE SH*T for this inventive time-saving tip.)
3. Taylor Swift
In The Giver, the latest young adult novel-turned-movie about a teenager who is destined to save mankind, Taylor Swift has a cameo as the original chosen one—who is quickly discarded by Jeff Bridges in favor of another lucky child. Now Taylor is about to release a vengeful, bitter breakup song about the experience of getting dissed on the big screen in 3 . . . 2 . . .
Diplo reluctantly shared this image of humping, humping hippos. "I should have posted this meme a few months ago," the DJ lamented of the viral photo. But as one commenter pointed out: "Average meme lifespan is four months, it still checks out." So now you know about the expiration date for your meme.
5. Nicki Minaj
Nothing says: "I'm a superfan" like getting your favorite artist's ass shaved into your skull. Unfortunately, it also says: "I have plausible mental health issues" and "I desperately need attention." (Nicki, however, approves; "head game right," she said.) We can only hope that this look does not spark a trend in barbershops nationwide; it's the definition of "bad hair day."
"Never forget," Skillrex wrote on Instagram. No, the DJ was not alluding to the fallen heroes 9/11; he was referring, of course, to the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Since Hollywood is out of original ideas—and given the successful resurrection of that other '90s children's TV show, The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles—can a Power Rangers reboot be far behind? (The answer is hell no—and it's coming to a theater near you on July 22, 2016.)
Georgia native Christopher Lowell (not to be confused with the flamboyant interior decorator of the same name) moved to Los Angeles to study photography—not acting—at the University of Southern California. But Veronica Mars fans will no doubt recognize him as the teenage sleuth's boyfriend "Piz," and the actor has also appeared in more serious fare, such as The Help, for which he won a SAG Award. For those who prefer to view pictures in a museum as opposed to on an iPhone, Lowell's black and white prints, including this sexy ode to temporary tattoos, will be on display at the Jackson Fine Art in Atlanta through the end of the month.
8. Joe Jonas
This photo gives new meaning to "dog food." Dog lover Joe Jonas (he owns a bug-eyed pooch named Lola) posted this pic that he captioned: "Loaf of pug." But what we want to know: Is it glüten-free, Joe?
9. Zac Posen
Designer and Project Runway judge Zac Posen traded places with a cameraman for a day. "Let's start the show!" he demanded. When you think about all the time it must take for the show's supermodel host, Heidi Klum, to get ready for her close-up, can you blame Posen for being impatient?
10. John Stamos
Remember when feathered hair was the look, wayfarers were cool and Coke was it? Neither do we, but the 51-year-old Full House star certainly does. These days he's pimping low-fat Greek yogurt, but it seems like just yesterday that the Olsen Twins were in diapers and Uncle Jesse got stuck babysitting again! "From that to this, in a blink of an eye. #enjoyeveryminute," Stamos wrote, thankfully resisting the urge to add: "YOLO."
11. Jimmy Fallon
"Giving these guys a few tips," explained Jimmy Fallon. Listening and learning are none other than pro golfers Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy. But in reality: Tiger was the one coaching Rory and Jimmy as they took turns hitting balls at images of each other's faces for a Tonight Show skit. Fore!
12. The Rock
There are a lot of compelling reasons to travel to Berlin, but working out there isn't one of them. Unless that is, you happen to be a die-hard gym rat like The Rock, who never met a bench press that he didn't like. "Fun pain" is how Hercules captioned this photo along with the hashtags "Germany" and "SometimesLoveHurts." Meanwhile, just about everyone else is busy chillaxing, smoking cigarettes, drinking beer, doing drugs, dancing to bad techno and cavorting with German prostitutes over at the Kit Kat Club.
13. Colton Haynes
Sure, Teen Wolf Colton Haynes is doing an impressive job of getting in touch with his inner-Vulcan (it's all about the brows and a bowl cut), but Zachary Quinto shouldn't lose any sleep over the possibility of getting replaced as Spock in the next Star Trek movie. Not when Haynes is busy moonlighting on the set of CW's Arrow when he's not howling at the, well, you know on MTV.
13. Mario Sorrenti
Fashion photographer Mario Sorrenti took this surreal shot at the Salvador Dali museum in Figueres, Spain. (Fun fact: The museum contains the mustachioed artist's tomb as well as his kooky art work.) How long will it be before the idea-starved interior designers on HGTV rip off Dali's eye-catching decor?
