Hugh Jackman—Back on Broadway
At a press preview for his new all-singing, all-dancing, all-Jackman spectacular, Back on Broadway, Broadway.com asked the Real Steel star, "So what's more challenging—boxing with a robot or tap dancing with an umbrella?" He just flashed his leading-man smile: "Tap dancing." Ever since he won a 2004 Tony for his portrayal of flamboyant Aussie showman Peter Allen in The Boy From Oz, producers have been trying to get him out of Wolverine drag and back in a kick line. Failing that, they've had to settle for roping him in to host the Tony Awards—which he's done three times. After Jackman does his business with the umbrella, a gaggle of leggy chorus girls, and an 18-piece orchestra, you can bet your muttonchops he'll get another emceeing invite.
