Evita (beginning March 12)
Even if you don't remember the winners of the 1999 Grammy Awards (and really, who does?), you'll likely recall Ricky Martin's performance of "La Copa de la Vida (The Cup of Life)": the musicians running up the aisles; the massive percussion section; and Martin, in black leather pants, swiveling his hips with Elvis-like abandon. The man can command a stage—and that is exactly why he's headlining this Evita revival. Sure, it's been a while since he's had us all living la vida loca and shaking our bonbons, but producers know that when you're pushing a rock operetta about a ruthless mid-20th century Argentine dictator, you need Menudo fans to get their butts in the seats.
