The 25 Greatest Gen X Books of All Time

December 10, 2009

We gathered together with a small group of bookish friends and, after a few bottles of wine and some fisticuffs, we whipped up this list of the 25 books that best capture the spirit of our times, all written by authors who composed their masterpieces on computers instead of Underwoods, and were affected more directly by Nintendo than Nagasaki.

25. Zeitoun, Dave Eggers
Everything you need to know about the tragedy of Katrina and the Bush administration's bungled War on Terror comes to life in this true story by the author of A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius.
