Cornell releases the Timbaland-produced solo album Scream, which reaches No. 10 on the Billboard 200. Soundgarden reunites; Cornell confidently rocks the longest hair he's had since the Seattle grunge days—and a thicker beard, which confers on him a Jesus-like quality and, ultimately, a sense of peace.
