Details asked Bill Powers and Persis Singh, two of the art world's most discerning tastemakers, to guide us through Frieze Week.

Though Frieze New York, an international art fair that focuses on contemporary art and living artists, is only in its second year (the 'parent' fair, Frieze London, is in its tenth) it's already established a frenzy of fiscal activity that has come to be known as Frieze Week. From May 10–13, 2013, Frieze takes over Randall's Island Park, a quick ferry ride from Manhattan, but that's only one of many events taking place in New York City in the coming days. Here, two top art-world tastemakers guide us through the busy week ahead.
