Metropol Parasol
A giant waffle. A tangle of popsicle sticks. A field of wild mushrooms. Whatever culinary imagery the new Metropol Parasol in Seville calls to mind, the vision of German starchitect Jürgen Mayer H. is serious brain food. Underneath its stunning canopy are 39 food stalls offering Andalusian delicacies (chorizo, gazpacho, sardines), while four stories above, you can enjoy tapas at the Gastrosol restaurant along with panoramic views of the medieval city.
