Top 5 International Men's Grooming Products

You won't find them in any U.S. store, but these creams, waxes, and gels (from Japan, Israel, and beyond) are well worth the trip—to your computer. We've got the scoop on how to snag these exotics with just a few clicks of the mouse.

World travelers know that some of the best hair- and skin-care solutions are nowhere to be found in American stores. You have to go to Europe, the Middle East, or Asia to find these creams, waxes, gels, and soaps. Don't let the familiar packaging fool you; sometimes there's just a slight variation in the formula that makes one version work better than a seemingly similar version sold in the United States. Below are seven pharmaceutical products well worth buying abroad—though we've made it easier for you by including the sometimes obscure links for purchase too. If all else fails, you can always try eBay.

From Israel: Natural Formula Go Curly

Thick, curly Mediterranean hair needs frizz control, conditioning, and hold all at once; this pump product dries to a natural, slightly shiny finish and comes in a variety of formulas with differing curling effects: Fix and Set Curls (yellow label), Create and Build Curls (purple label), Open Curls (white label), and Natural Curls All-Day Hold (red label). The liquid has a slick, thick feel with a slight citrus scent. Ingredients are listed in English, but instructions are in Hebrew only. Luckily, it's pretty straightforward: "Comb through with fingers, style, do not rinse. Can be used on wet or dry hair."

About $11 for a 400-milliliter (about 14 ounces) bottle, israeliproducts.com
