How to Get a Perfect Hem
One pant length does not fit all your trousers. Stick to these rules to get a perfect hem for every style and every pair of pants in your wardrobe.
A short hem, one that exposes about an inch of ankle, works on just about any narrow-cut pantsflat-front or pleated, wool or cotton. A cuff is optional, but if you opt for one, it should be wider than the standard inch and half, but no more than two and a quarter inches (thatís high-water territory).
