How to Get a Perfect Hem
One pant length does not fit all your trousers. Stick to these rules to get a perfect hem for every style and every pair of pants in your wardrobe.
Have your jeans cut slightly longer than your tailored pants; they should end a half an inch above the sole of your sneakers (if they’re straight-leg, the hem can go all the way to the floor). And make sure the tailor stitches the original hem of the jeans back on after he shortens them so the chop job is imperceptible.
