Coachella (pictured at top)

The festival that kicks off the season is so popular it's split over two weekends. No holograms are scheduled this year, but there are sure to be plenty of out-of-body moments. Just ask Justin Timberlake.

The Roots Picnic

Now in its sixth year, the festival's emcees ?uestlove and the Roots host some of the pioneers of hip-hop, R&B, and soul, as well as a smattering of new-guard artists.

Governors Ball Music Festival

Some of music's biggest names are heading to the Big Apple for the Governors Ball Music Festival. Now in its third year, the three-day fest on Randall's Island boasts hip-hop heavyweights and rock legends, along with indie darlings and new favorites.
