This Swimwear Video Is the Moodiest Thing We've Seen Today

Can you feel the danger?

French menswear brand Ami and swimwear line Robinson Les Bains have teamed up for a swimsuit collaboration, and the video they filmed to promote the new trunks is about as dark and sexy as they come.

The 34-second clip features four main elements: male model Alexandre Rocha, some very dark water, the aforementioned swimwear, and a song that sounds like a slightly sinister version of the James Bond theme. You catch glimpses of the trunks as Rocha cuts through the water, but you also get the sense that if this were a longer production, he'd be in for some kind of adventure.

But back to the shorts themselves: The partnership produced four versions of Robinson Les Bains's St. Martin trunks, two of which feature a tropical print Ami used in its Spring 2014 collection. The other two come in a simple green and black.

Mr Porter sells the green pair and one of the printed versions for $255, but they're also available at Saks, the Ami pop-up store in Paris, and the Ami and Robinson Les Bains websites. The midnight swimming background music, unfortunately, is not included.
