Roberto Cavalli said he found the inspiration for his Spring 2015 collection at a specific point in time, several decades ago.
Think "Playboy from Miami in 1970," he told our associate features editor Antonina Jedrzejczak. And the life of pleasure and fun you think of when you hear the word playboy is exactly the kind of feeling this designer wanted to create. "Slowly, slowly, I want to transport every man. . . to start to enjoy to dress."
But can every man really handle the wild prints in his offerings? Cavalli held up a pair of python-pattern pants and said yes. "Every man can wear these kinds of jeans. Maybe with one classic blazer."
