The new PrMotion FTS, which is already in more than 100 health clubs nationwide (including Crunch and New York City's Chelsea Piers), just might be the most elementary tool: a cage, basically, equipped with bars, straps, and cables. If it looks like a jungle gym, that's the idea. Call it the anti-bench: You do all the work while on your feet. "We spend too much of our time sitting on a chair already," says the FTS's creator, Jorge Bonnet. "Why do you want to go to the gym and sit down to a selectorized, pin-loaded weight machine?"
