The Watch: 1967 Rolex Submariner 5512 Meters First
The Details: "I've become a bit obsessed with vintage Rollies over the past few years. I look for just the right ones (at the right prices) and buy banged up, faded, and worn out pieces with loads of patina. My favorite right now is this 1967 5512 Submariner Meters First. It's all original, has beautifully discolored markers, and the case is unpolished. The brushed leather strap I bought at Leffot in New York. It compliments the rustic look and adds a bit of extra sprezz. Vintage watches are like vintage jeans: Few people will even notice, but the ones that do say "Nice watch, dude," and then you start talking about watches for hours."
