In each of the past two years, Details has compiled a list of Social Mavericks, a compendium of the biggest movers and shakers in the world of social media. This year, we've rechristened the portfolio Digital Mavericks. Why? Because technological innovation has become inherently social—even if it doesn't involve a platform where you have "friends," it's changing the way we live and interact.
This year we asked our Mavericks—including Jack Dorsey (Twitter), Carter Cleveland (Artsy), Kenna (Myspace), Evan Sharp and Ben Silbermann (Pinterest), and several Tumblr evangelists—to break the digital barrier and return to pen and paper to illustrate what they believe will be the future of social media.
Now it's your turn.
Before we unveil what goes on inside the mind of a Maverick (sneak peek below), we've partnered with our friends at Moleskine to invite our readers and fans to imagine where they think social media will take us next.
One winner and two runners-up will have their drawings showcased at the Details Digital Mavericks event at the New Museum in New York City on March 27, as well as on Details.com and on the Moleskine blog.
How to enter:
Last call for submissions is Sunday, March 24, 2013, 12 A.M. EST. All entries will be judged by Details editors and the Moleskine digital team. The winner will be notified by March 26, 2013.
