The original inspiration: "I found this incredible book in our archives that was full of biker images. It seems Thomas Burberry started working on biker clothes in the early 1900's, and that started the collection's whole leather biker stud theme."

The fabric treatment: "Calfskin leather is washed to loosen and slightly distend the seams, and it's over-dyed by hand to achieve this particular finish. The inside of the jacket is bound with rubber to make the jacket waterproof, enhancing its protective and functional qualities."

The spirit: "We were really going for the biker theme with this collection, but a modern biker with a bit of a music/rocker vibe. He doesn't need to ride a Harley, but he should be cool and look smart at the same time."
