Photographer Liam Goslett takes us behind the scenes of J.Crew's Spring 2014 presentation. For this collection, men's design director Frank Muytjens drew inspiration from U.S. National Parks back in the heyday of the great American road trip.
"I have always been a fan of Ken Burns' documentaries and the Eliot Porter Sierra Club books about our national parks from the 60s—Canyon de Chelly, Baja California, Arcadia, Joshua Tree—magical places with a sense of history," Muytjens told the L.A. Times. How does this translate into menswear? Think earth tones like olive and tan as well as lots of denim—jeans, blazers, shoes, ties, shirts, and even chambray gym pants.
Catch a glimpse of some of those looks as well as an insider's view of how it all comes together for New York Fashion Week, below.
