Runway Recall: The Prada Show Where Everyone Had a Front Row Seat

One of the few times when every seat in the house was the best seat in the house.

The politics of seating at fashion shows is, well, political. But Miuccia Prada (who we should note here has a PhD in political science) did away with that issue at her Spring 2012 show, when she effectively sat everyone in the front row.

Instead of creating long lines of seats, the show producers arranged blue square cubes in a grid format. The models then snaked through every row, allowing all of the guests to get a closeup view of the designs.
