I work in public relations, for P&G Prestige.
What do you have on?
Jeans from Dolce & Gabbana, a double-breasted jacket from Fendi, a vintage T-shirt, blue Gucci shoes, and a watch by Android. The bag with the spikes is Christian Louboutin.
Are you wearing anything sentimental?
I never leave the house without a photo of my mother, Rose, and a strong sense of self-awareness. I got that from my pop.
What's the next item you have your eye on?
Not an "item" . . . more like a person. She doesn't know yet, and I would like to be the one to tell her first.
Cool hangout spots for the summer?
Anyplace with friends and loved ones. In particular, I love Rome, Palermo, Paris, San Francisco, and my mother's hometown, Charleston, South Carolina.
Best advice your mother gave you?
Walk tall, pray hard, do right, find love, hold on for life (it's her favorite song lyric). [Editor's note: From the Anthony Hamilton song "Everybody."]
What's your advice for someone looking to change his style?
Anyone can be fashionable . . . money buys fashion. Style, however, is innate, and it develops as we develop. Stay true to your evolving self, make choices based on what feels right versus what someone tells you is right. Buy clothes that fit and don't be afraid to experiment.
