The Best Beer-Infused Soap: The Hipster Bar Made With Brooklyn Lager

Dedicated to that not-so-clean subculture, this new soap joins a large family of boozy body cleansers.

Talk about your Manventions: The Beer Soap Company has capitalized on the purported beauty benefits of malted beverages and created a line of cleansing products made from the best ales, stouts, and lagers. Offering a hydrating, all-natural alternative to your usual bar, BSC recently released The Hipster Beer Soap made from cedarwood, coconut oil, and a gulp of Brooklyn Lager. Paying homage to a subculture famous for its questionable hygiene, the new bar suggests that hipsters might use soap after all. It joins Black Pepper and Lime Beer Soap (created with black pepper, patchouli, lime, and Corona Extra), Cape Cod Beer Soap (made out of amber, spices, sweetgrass, and Sam Adams Coastal Wheat), and Phoenix Beer Soap (a mix of bergamot, lavender, jasmine, orange, grapefruit, and Sea Dog Blue Paw Wild Blueberry Wheat Ale) in the company's long list of aromatic, alcoholic ways to get spic and span.
