Creative director Tomas Maier instructed the house's skilled Italian artisans to give the canvas bag, which was originally white, the Grateful Dead treatment. They bound it in yarn and put it through a series of methodical colorings until they achieved a rich, shadowy patina. The subtle effect has less to do with Haight-Ashbury than with Milan, but you can still get a contact high.
