Handmade Leather Accessories for the Digital Hoarder

Because your traveling tech needs should be stylish

DEVELOPING STYLISH SOLUTIONS for on-the-go tech users, the LA-based brand This Is Ground began crafting handmade leather goods that simplify carrying around your digital accoutrement.

Starting off with a style named after Los Angeles' favorite Mexican food, founder and product development and visual design expert Mike Macadaan released the Cord Taco—a simple taco shaped holder for a single cord or pair of earbuds—in late 2012 on the DIY site Etsy. After a year of growing its popularity and the brand's social media presence, the Cord Taco made its way to Apple online and the next style, the Cordito wrap which holds multiple cables and plugs, was created. A self charging iPad holder, wallets, passport cases, and notebook styles followed, plus multiple color options for each, and the latest is by far This Is Ground's most stylish. The Mod is a zip around tablet case that doubles as a portfolio, and is a customizable depending on the needs of the user with its insert attachments. All of this is just our polite way of saying don't be that guy who has a bunch of tangled cables in the bottom of his bag.
