The week's top stories in fashion news.

Thanks to designer Cynthia Rowley, everyone who wasn't fancy enough to be invited to the Met Gala has an inside view of the ball. Rowley hid a camera inside her purse to show we lay people what it's really like (hint: there's as much champagne as you'd think). Around the two-minute mark, Rowley lets the cat out of the bag and captures Public School's Max Osborne looking appropriately shocked. (Fashionista)

Supposedly, the only thing that will get Michael Fassbender out of his movie set trailer is "Blurred Lines." To demonstrate, X-Men co-stars Hugh Jackman and James McAvoy asked the actor to re-enter the set of The Graham Norton Show with Robin Thicke's hit song blasting in the background. The ensuing dance break is surprisingly well coordinated—and pretty stylish, too. (

New York gentleman, it's time to gear up. This weekend, the spring edition of the Pop-Up Flea is returning to the Metropolitan Pavilion on West 18th Street, and will host booths from the likes of Topo Designs, Shinola, and Rogue Territory. With Father's Day right around the corner, there's no excuse not to do some damage. (Complex)

No matter how manly or handsome you think you are, Nacho Figueras (the Argentine Polo player who has served as the face of Ralph Lauren since 2005), is better at being both. In a new interview, Nacho describes a typical day in his shoes—make that knee-high riding boots—which includes a cup of fresh yerba mate followed by "some polo" and "more polo in the afternoon." Whistles, the Kate Middleton-approved British brand, is expanding into menswear. Set to hit stores this fall, the guy's collection will feature clean cut basics with a bit of streetwear edge, including bomber jackets and fleece-lined military parkas. (Drapers)
